1000 gifts , Blue

It certainly couldn't be a missing you blue.
Or a longing for blue. The blues of leaving a heart somewhere.
Where I'm purring on you.
Hollering out self-pity for the romantic you.

That wouldn't be right, resigned as I am to the loyalty of you. The calm and peaceful renewal that is the source of life here in the now.

You were cool and hypnotic and heavenly.
I want wrap up in you, knit you into grooves of these days, paint the royal round and through my soul.

You were sky and pastel, powder and cornflower. Indigo, cobalt, ice, and peacock. There was caribbean and steel, and denim and lake.

Stir me in all of you.
Stir into me
you
blue

Just got home from school and it's blue-tiful outside!
Some weeks just seem to have color themes :)
I want a pen with a topper on it of the desert palm...
Blue skies here today... with clouds that are low and 3-D ... love that too!
Giving thanks with you here today ~ Maria
